I read, in this newspaper last week, an article concerning a young man who was arrested allegedly for having sex with minors. The article claimed that the young man lured young girls from high schools with the promise of fixing their cellphones.

Apparently, when the girls got to his home or the location that they ended up, they were given a drink (which was spiked) and then they had intercourse. The act was taped, and the girls were then forced to pay the young man to not put the images on the Internet.

If the allegations are true, then one must wonder, what is really taking place in this country? It is insane! The thing that bothers me is that persons who are found guilty of carrying out these acts were once children themselves! What took place in their childhood, which has led to their deviant behaviour?

Demonic influence

How many of them grew up in fatherless homes and worse, what types of influences are they allowing to take over their minds?

Clearly, anyone who takes advantage of our young girls or boys, or anyone in this way, is completely under demonic influence! However, what happens to little girls can also happen to adults.

I also believe that a stronger monitoring system is needed at the bus terminus at Half-Way Tree (where this particular incident with the girls reportedly started), and the other bus termini across Jamaica. Also, parents, make sure that you can talk to your children about anything, because I would not want to know that a child would rather trust a stranger to help them with their cellphone, than carry the matter to an angry parent who might be upset that they destroyed a brand new cellphone .
