If Princess Tia could wave a proverbial magic wand, it would be to rid Jamaica of crime and violence, making the country safer for young people to grow up, live and be free. Her debut single, Free, for Work of Hearts Production, is upbeat, message-driven and hopeful about Jamaica becoming almost crime-free.

A blend of musical genres - dancehall, club and rap - Free is refreshingly inspirational, with an infectious beat that beckons to take over the dance floor. Co-written by Princess Tia, the song is a first for the first runner-up in the 2009 Digicel Rising Stars competition and, so far, her star is steadily rising. Influencing the young for better through music is one of her main priorities, and she teams up with Chicago's 16-year-old rap sensation A.O.N., already living up to his moniker 'Ambitious Or Nothing', with a shared commitment of directing young people to the right path.
