The Grand Gala will be a major affair but not everyone will get to attend as the tickets are now finished.
"Tickets were issued on Thursday and the outlets are reporting, up to today, that the tickets are finished," Dahlia Harris, marketing executive at the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC), told The Gleaner. "We regret that everybody could not attend but seating is limited at the stadium."
Harris added: "That is why we have partnered with radio and television stations to ensure that there is coverage."
More than 20,000 tickets were distributed through various post offices, offices of the Inland Revenue Department and Tastee outlets in various sections of the island. Other tickets were sent to various community groups for distribution.
Harris said she would like to thank the public for its overwhelming support.
The Grand Gala will be held tomorrow at the National Stadium.
