Plane-crash victims still to be identified
The police are still to identify the burnt remains of two persons who died when the twin-engine plane they were travelling in crashed in Schwallenburgh district in St Ann on Monday.
Operation Kingfish spokesperson Detective Sergeant Jubert Llewellyn told The Gleaner that the police would have to rely on scientific methods to determine the identities of the two persons, whose bodies were charred.
The police believe the United States-registered plane was on a drug mission to Jamaica to pick up compressed ganja when it crashed on a private road owned by Windalco bauxite company.
